Welcome! I am an experienced writer, editor, and on-screen talent based near Boston, MA. I’m currently an Autos Editor at Consumer Reports. Before that, I was Home, Auto, and Appliance Editor at Reviewed, a division of USA Today. I’ve also contributed to Wired, CityLab, Atlas Obscura, Car and Driver, CarGurus, The Awl, and the Boston Globe. Before writing full time, I led community outreach campaigns at a non-profit community health center in Massachusetts.
My writing work focuses on product reviews, consumer advocacy, the home appliance and automotive industries, public transit, and the social impact of consumer goods.
As an editor at Reviewed, I worked with the company’s founder and chief scientist to create a home appliance review website from scratch, which attracted 7 million visitors per month in 2016. In addition to leading all coverage of home appliances, cars, and home design and technology for Reviewed, I focused on building a diverse team of writers and contributors, and streamlining editing processes so that we could spend more time helping our readers choose the right products to buy.
At Consumer Reports, I report on breaking news, write car reviews, host and appear on the Talking Cars podcast, and work with the talented folks on the Autos team to produce special interest publications.
